Here is my limit on units that I will approve provided they meet fire code requirements.

  1. 1. A single lot that can not be subdivided in the future can hold a total of 3 common wall one or two story units creating a triplex. No breakup of units (to create more units than the original triplex) or accessory dwelling units will be allowed that would create more than 3 dwelling units already provided for in a triplex.
  2. 2. Two individual single family lots that can not be subdivided and can only contain one single family unit per lot. No duplexes or accessory dwelling units will be allowed on the SF lot.

 

At some point developers need to decide which way they want to go and once it is built then that’s it. If they want to change it then they need to demo the existing structures and go through a rezoning and redevelopment process.
