Tree permits are a function of the Planning Department. I have included Alice Cannon, Sr. Planner and Dan Zinder, Planning Assistant in this email. You will need to work directly with them for a tree removal permit. I do not need to be included on email correspondence for the tree permit. Sir, I am forwarding this report prepared for us concerning the property to the west to the Wells Fargo bank. The owner is repeatedly requesting we cut trees down that are next to the building. I do not intend to do this and I believe per the city code any removal of trees this size would require permits to remove. Please review our reports and comment on as necessary. I am most concerned with given the arborist reports that the city would consider granting us a permit to remove. I do plan on doing what pruning I can from our property line to remove branches.
The owner of the building to the west has escalated his concerns to our upper leadership and I need the cities position on the issuance of a permit for removal.
