Indeed. So I added Gerald.

I usually do an annual map of projects for the PW page but a dynamic map linked to project pages could offer a lot more.

Okay. We can talk more about it. I don’t know if we’re ready for that, or not?!? Public Works may want to be part of this too, since they are always working on capital and maintenance projects.

Thanks for your reply Lois. We may not be ready to acquire this but it will be highly desirable in the near future and now we know the verbiage to get it done

Alice and Christie – looks like it’s a subscription situation to get dynamic maps on our website.

Dan,

I apologize for the delay! Tualatin is using our project feature which does not require a setup fee but does require a support fee of $200/ year.

Let me know your thoughts,

Lois

A good noon,

Molalla’s Planning Department is looking to soup up its page. One of the tools we would like to build out is a mapping toolsimilar to the one that Tualatin has where we can link project pages to a base map. Our current mapping functioning only allows one point per map and doesn’t seem to allow for dynamic text, such as links.

I’m assuming what Tualatin did was simply a matter of linking a different API (in their case, Open Street Map) as the mapping tool and changing some permissions/capabilities, no? Or were there Json/KML layers added?

Would we be able to do this and what would it entail?

Best,

DanZ
