Thanks for setting up the portal, Andy! I’m pretty excited for the rollout as well and the additional opportunities this format will provide for PW ops.

A lot about this program will be intuitive from experience with the desktop application and Google maps. There are some differences though and I’m happy to be available to work through all and any of it.

A few FAQ type notes:

• each time you load the map, you’ll need to open the “Content” panel (found in the top left) and individually turn on any layers of interest. They don’t group the way they did on the desktop app.

• Addresses are visible by turning on the taxlots layer. They show up at roughly the neighborhood/street level. You can also search for addresses in the search bar in the top right.

• Printing is a little unintuitive. Push the print button in the top panel and you can choose legend or no legend. Then, when the preview generates, right click off to the side of the image and select print. You get a pretty good print that way.

Folks, Dan Zinder has migrated all our GIS Maps to “the Cloud”, and we are now linked from MolallaOps. Try it out by pressing the ArcGIS Online button. You’ll be taken to the main map of Molalla. Hit the Content tab and you can turn layers on and off.

This is a massive improvement I think you will like, with hidden opportunities that will become clear later. Let me or Zinder know if you have any questions, and if you see Dan Z let him know you appreciate his work, cause this is 21^st century awesome.
