They have been charging us for the mat at the shops for years but have never come by to clean it or change it out. We also were charged for coveralls that were never received or used and I think you said they charge a minimum no matter what. Essentially they have continued to charge us for services without ever providing those services which I would consider a breach of contract. The only reason they are squealing about it is because no one was apparently watching them in the past and, now that we are all here, they know they’ve been caught. Wondering if we shouldn’t state our displeasure with the BBB and attorney general. I’m willing to bet that others have had issues with them. See link below.

Sounds as if we are not the only ones that have been ripped off by this company

Subject: Aramark Contract

On our Aramark contract I am planning on sending the contract and a list of any deficiencies as to why we want to cancel our contract to our attorney. Please let me know if you have any information that would help.

I have talked to Aramark and they are refusing to cancel unless we want to buy out the remainder of the contract. Supposedly he is sending us what that cost would be. We originally had a 10 year contract and this year they supposedly agreed to change for the last 3 years for lesser amounts. The cost of the rugs went down some but they went from 22% weekly service fee to a 36% service fee and I was told there was not a minimum amount that we had to have but there is a 50% minimum fee. I didn’t do a good enough job on reviewing the contract so our costs really didn’t go down.
