Christies we’ve got it! Our Work Order looks like this, will be released in mid-November:
CONFIRM DATE AND MOVE WORK ORDER IF NEEDED.
CHECK IN WITH Supervisor FOR ANY CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR.
1) Set up our "Tent" for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in front of City Hall main entrance.
2) Run extension chord from tent into city hall for lights in tent, use 4x 50gal drums 1/2 full water for tent ballast.
3) Put santa and reindeer on roof at city hall, and presents under the tree (they are at the shop.)
4) Plug santa in to roof outlets, anchor with sandbags.
5) Plug an extension chord for tree lighting into the exterior socket on the North side roof of City Hall,
6) and string chords to "switch box" (find it in the storage room on north side of City Hall),
7) then another cord from box through fence.
8) PW will set out barricades and detour signs for PD to set up and remove.
TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN = block N Molalla between Ross and E Main. Set up detour sings as appropriate. note from PW director 2017: Maintenance Division will be responsible for setting out sufficient barricades and signage so that there are no overtime callouts for extra signs and barricades.
9) Hang wreath above the main entrance of City Hall. See City Managers' assistant to find wreath.
10) Remove tent and barricades the day after the event.

Attached is the annual Christmas Tree Lighting application. There is a change this year, as the Chamber is adding a stage. It is very similar to the one that was used for Celebrate Molalla.
