I have said many times that you are only as strong as the people around you. I have some of the best friends, family, and work family’s a person can have. Everyone has lifted me through cancer, and the support that I have received from everyone is touching and I’m so humbled by actions and strong words. Rural communities are the best in the world and deserve to be saved. On a positive note the charity and we have started has already raised over $120,000 and still growing. We are going to be able to help so many people and assist in the re-build. I want everyone to know that I’m fine and I will be fine and will build back.
I also am truly blessed to work with everyone of you and I love my Molalla family!

I wanted to let each and every one of you to receive my sincere thank you for what you have accomplished and endured this past week. Many will never appreciate or understand what you all did or are dealing with personally right now. In spite of confronting possible fire in your own homes you made sure your families were safe and came in to be part of the solution. Each and every one of us has ourselves, family, friends, neighbors and animals that have been impacted. I for one am not enjoying having to sleep with my 4-year old grandson this week!
A special shout out to Cindy Chauran. As you all know, she and her family experienced tremendous loss in the community of Gates. There she was with a generally cheery disposition wearing a Molalla jacket. Unbelievable.
I am truly blessed to work with each of you and my hope is that you all believe the same thing about each other.
