Yes, he was a nerd too. Growing up I totally identified with him. Bones was a lazy wimp, Kirk flew by the seat of his pants, and Scotty always cleaned up the mess. Wait. Maybe it was 50% Spock, 30% Scotty, and 20% Kirk.
