We also have budget for installation of sharrows on Molalla Avenue from 5th to Heintz that the crews will work on once I get them the layout. That is also in the TSP though not a high priority project.

Dan, lovely rhetoric Mr. Keyser’s imagination has produced. Here is some of my own:

-If you piled up all the asphalt Molalla laid on streets just since January this year, you would see a mountain with a volume of 332 cubic yards, weighing 672 tons, which would measure 20 ft base-diameter and rises 6.5 ft high. That’s 25,230 square feet of road laid, including sub-base reconstruction. And that’s just hot mix. There would be another mountain nearly that big for the cold patch we’ve put on during the same time period (anywhere in the GL you see “Lakeside Industries” is Cold Mix asphalt being trucked in).

-Every single regulatory street sign in Molalla has been replaced brand new over the last 2 years, on Gerald’s Orders.

-Over 20 brand new thermoplastic crosswalks have been added in town, not only making the town safer but rendering Molalla Eligible for safe-routes-to-school grant monies.

-Intersection, Sidewalk, ADA ramp, and Crosswalk replacements are ongoing, you can see them at Hart/Section; Francis by the High School; Center St at Hwy 211; Heintz at Kennel; S. Molalla at 5th; E Park St at Heintz; and others.

-At least three projects listed in the 2018 TSP have been completed by City Forces escaping the need for any capital investment, and there is more on the way. In fact within a few weeks City Crews will be completing the turn lanes at Big Meadow/HWY 213 which was identified in the master plan to be part of the Odot Toliver Road improvements. Our white marks are already on the roads.

Andy – I am trying to create a narrative that goes against what is being stated by mayoral candidate Scott Keyser. “We (City) waste money (gas tax) and do not get anything done”.

How would you factually explain what the crew completes today that was not occurring at the time you arrived with us here?

I am also going to include a link to the monthly reports.
