I have received many thanks, but it’s time the real heroes get thanked.

First off, I was a bit nervous, I will admit. But I am humble enough to give credit where its due. Thank you, Redneck Fire Crew! All of you (who shall remain anonymous) showed true courage and passion for our community. A debt of gratitude will never be able to be repaid. While others ran away from the fire you ran into it. A heartfelt thanks to all of you.

Molalla Militia, you stayed behind and helped our local law enforcement protect our city. You protected our firefighters out in the woods. You stood your ground and did what was right, even when people called you names and disrespected you. All of you courageously went to task for complete strangers. Thank you!

Ashley, Liane, and everyone at the feed store… you rocked! You guys made sure many folks were safe, supplied, and fed. Your incredible passion for the community is stunning. Thank you!

Humble Pig, you guys stuck around when everyone got out. You fed many people, never expecting a dime. You put in countless hours to show love to our city. Thank you!

To all the families up in the hills who stayed behind to make sure the Rednecks had food, water, and supplies, your hearts for this community go above and beyond what anyone could expect. Thank you!

I also had some partners that worked together with me to provide everyone with true and accurate information. Crystal Robles, Jody Douglass Newland, Delise Palumbo, Leota Childress, and Jimmy Thompson, thank you for putting everything aside and showing this city that we truly do care and love this city we call home. Thank you!

Molalla Rural Fire Protection and Molalla Police Department, please don't think that your efforts went unnoticed. You guys held your ground and were rock solid for our city. All of you are incredible people that always prove your sense of duty to this community. Thank you for your service and dedication to all.
