Good Morning Dan,

I wanted to take a quick moment to thank you and all of your staff for your time and the warm welcome I received yesterday. It is an honor to be considered for your Planning Director, and I think I'd fit in well with the can-do culture you've created at Molalla City Hall. I also think I would work very well with Gerald as we both speak the same language and gained many of our foundational principles in the United States Naval service. I truly hope that when the dust clears you have selected me to fill this important and exciting role, but wish you the best of luck either way.
