Attachments: image003.jpg; All – I wanted to clarify a few issues that may be confusing from the beginning of the week to where we are today. At the outset of this week we believed that Governor Brown was going to indicate a complete shut-down. That was not the case. In fact, local government is exempt from the Executive Order. We have taken certain precautions and prepared for further executive orders that will lessen even more our ability to provide service to the Molalla community. However, that is not where we are today. Our doors are closed to the public but we are open for business. What this means is that as a Department Head you are responsible for managing your staff to best serve the community and accomplish needed tasks. You will need to be clear with your employees regarding working from home or not. The issue of working from home must be measured with your ability to provide service. We also must be cognizant that some employees may be compromised and we need to follow appropriate procedure and afford leave time if needed. Please see HR if you have questions or concerns. You all are also aware that we are monitoring new rules and allowances as those rules come out. It seems like two or three every day. We will provide that information to you as it becomes available and we understand how we will be implementing those policies here in Molalla. Please be careful when comparing cities. We serve Molalla, not other cities and our circumstances may be different.
