Well, once again the hardest thing we do is manage people. In an effort to
clean signs posted all over we had an over-zealous employee go farther than
we need to go. As you can see, Dan Zinder is taking care of it but the
damage occurred. I will also be contacting Mr. Delbridge.

I've chatted with Dan H and Aldo this morning. The general take is while
technically the signs were in the right of way, we don't intend to mess with
ones that are
- in the planter strip (as opposed to the sidewalk)
- and not obstructing traffic sight lines
I'll be in touch with Cowboy Coffee to let them know they can put the signs
out and to contact me if they have any questions.
Thanks you,
Dan Zinder

Jimmy,
Yes, Brenda was out there yesterday. I've copied her here. As public works
is shorthanded, she and I got assigned sign duty for garage sale signs in
the ROW and may have jumped into another wheelhouse. We'll sort it out and
get back to you this morning.
Best,
Dan Zinder

Hi Scott,
Thank you for reaching out. I apologize for the confusion on the contact
information. I believe it was Brenda, whom I don't have direct contact
information for. I have copied Dan Zinder on this however, as I believe Dan
is normally responsible for code enforcement.
Dan, can you please help Scott out?
Best Regards,
Jimmy

Hi Jimmy,
This is Scott Delbridge, owner of Cowboy Coffee. Thanks for taking on this
job by the way, tough duty. I know you are extremely busy.
I have a question about code enforcement, I've been in business 8 years and
all the sudden I get someone telling my workers to remove my A-frame sign
out front or she is going to confiscate it. I wasn't there last week to
verify but she did come back today and took all our signs and moved them to
our grass area and gave our workers some Xerox copy about codes on garage
sales. I am sure there are sign codes for businesses and we are happy to
follow them so I am trying to make contact with her rather than being upset
with my workers.
We are team players and we will definitely keep all codes so I am trying to
get a hold of her so we can talk rather than threatening my workers. I
don't find this behavior very professional but I do want to do the right
thing. I am sure we will work this out with no problem if I can talk with
her.
The reason I am writing to you is because I cannot find any contact emails
for her on the City of Molalla website except yours and the council members.
Smile
Again, thank you for doing a thankless job, we appreciate it. Any
direction on how to get a hold of her would be helpful. Have a great day.
Scott
