Subject: Timesheet question
Importance: Normal
Hi Dan,
See below. If the crews have not been coming in at the times listed below and have filled out their timesheets saying they were at work when they actually were not at work, then we may have a group situation of falsifying timesheets. We'll see what Andy finds out. If in fact they have not been arriving when they are supposed to then each should receive a write up and I would find that grounds for immediately implementing a 8 hour day, 5 days a week work week from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with 1 hour lunch break. Thanks.

Hi Andy,
I will CC you on the memo to Dan so you can review the high priority list. More will come later. Also, based on our discussion earlier today regarding work flow and other things I had a thought. I believe the crews leave the shops at 4:00 pm or at least that is what I remember them telling me and that they take a half hour lunch. Based on that discussion I believe their 9 hour work day would have them starting at 6:30 am. If they work until 4:30 pm and I misinterpreted the 4:00 pm closing time then their start time is at 7:00 am. Could you please investigate and let me know what scheduled time they are currently operating under. I will need it as part of my talking points for the memo. Also, the treatment plant staff work four ten hour shifts but they close down at 4:00 pm. That would mean that, with a half hour lunch, they start at 5:30 am. Could you also confirm their schedule? Thanks.

Gerald, this is my "communique" with the crew, based on the discussion with Dan. I think we can consider it solved. When you are finished with your "what I wanna do" memo to Dan I imagine I'll see a bullet to establish a Flex Schedule policy. Once I do, I'll get started writing it up.
