I would like to move the time of our Staff meeting Thursday (3-2-17) until 11:00AM. Let me know if you have a conflict.
As we enter the Budget season, please be having conversations with your Staff regarding the direction we are headed. They are part of an effective team and need to be encouraged and reminded of that. As I stated last week we are only effective if we are all heading down the same path.
As department heads, it is always a good idea to look in the mirror and determine where our strengths and weaknesses are located. Get better at our weaknesses and find out if our strength can also be a weakness. For example- I like to believe that I can see a finished process or project and understand the big picture. I also know that I gloss over details because of that and others need to mull details. I have to watch that issue.
We are kind of heading into a process of examining everything so get ready.
