Gerald – I think I will add some language on certifications. Let me know what you think.

Subject: Follow Up from March 15th

Good afternoon Dan – following up on our conversation from March 15th.

The discussion of our meeting had to do with the Code Enforcement classification, and the City’s desire to relocate the classification out of the bargaining unit and into a different City department.

The Union suggested, as a quid pro quo, consideration be given to an extension of the current collective bargaining agreement between the City and the Teamsters.

You requested I email you on this subject – thus this message.

Further conversation with Adam suggests the bargaining unit is willing to entertain this outcome.

Please let me know your thoughts and if the City is interested in further discussion.
