Mayor and Council – As we trudge toward another Christmas and New Year I wanted to thank you all for your service to this Community in the many ways you all participate. I am fairly certain that many people do not know the time and effort volunteer elected officials put in to help us as Staff and the Community make things happen. So, Thank you.
If you are so inclined to reflect please remember your accomplishments and the bigger picture down the road that we are focused on painting. You all have accomplished much and we all appreciate that you know the work we do is important and sometimes hard. This past year (a first for three of you) we have accomplished much and started projects that may be complete in 2018 (doesn’t that sound like a science fiction movie?). You all know the work doesn’t end there and sometimes our first shot doesn’t hit the mark. With always a goal of “getting better” we will continue to work with that in mind.
My hope is that you all enjoy your families and take to heart the good work you all do. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
