Dan,

After talking with Adam about a water shut down, Andy is extremely concerned that our crews have no clue how to perform basic functions as a Maintenance Division. I also find it interesting that I lack credibility with the crew and they don’t even know how to do basic utility work to keep the community safe. It’s either passive aggressive behavior or laughable incompetence as utility workers in level 3 positions. If in fact they don’t know basic skills for water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway work, then we will need to train our utility workers and consider moving them to a level that is commensurate with their education and skill level.

Regards,
