Mayor and Council – No new news as of yet but I wanted to fill you in on a couple of things. What I have given you is the official release from the Police Department. Other information is pure speculation by others. You all should be proud of our Police Officers and the entire Department. They all worked diligently for approximately 36 hours straight. Actual situations like this in smaller communities do not occur like we watch on TV. We are very appreciative of the other agencies that jumped in to help and are in their debt. This situation was a domestic issue and continues to display the fact that Molalla is a safe community.
