Good group.

What I would rather you all focus on is the facility. What do we really need as far as the Library footprint (including things like parking, etc.,). I do not want the property component to be part of the discussion yet. We will do that later. For example – I hear that we need a new Library but why? We will need to answer that question. Why isn’t it a good idea that we do not own the building or land the Library is on? What kinds of services will you all be able to provide in a different structure? Focus on what you should and need to do rather than what you cant.

Dan,

I have my focus group members:

• * Elizabeth and Cindy are going to split the duties as one can come to daytime meetings and the other evening ones.
• * Kelly Andrews
• * Angela Patton will join as is possible.
• * Valerie Coy (She lived in Colton for a long period of time and now lives in Big Meadow. She used to work for the library)
• * Michelle - she will participate as needed in someone's absence and help with the note taking

I have asked Gerald about available city properties. I will be sending out a Doodle Poll to determine the best meeting date for the first meeting the week of February 21. Other than what you handed out, is there anything specific you would like me to address?
