FYI – I have had no success with Marion County DA’s office to make sure they won’t mess up Thursday. As a last resort I’ve had to go over the Assistant DA’s head to get a response. It will either work or make him mad. Just asking for a return call isn’t a tall order in my book.

Dear Mr. Beglau,

I’ve made three attempts to contact Mr. Tim O’Donnell and left messages on his phone and have not received a contact back from his office. The two cases listed in the subject line are this Thursday and I received a subpoena to attend. I have no objection to participating in this case as ordered but I have a project meeting with the state and consultants starting at 1:30 pm and two public meetings (4:00 pm and 6:30 pm) that I am presenting to the community with my City Manager and City Council. These meetings have been advertised and scheduled for some time and cannot be moved.

As long as I can be released no later than 12:00 pm on Thursday I can make it back in time for the project meeting and complete preparations for the two public meetings. Any assistance you can provide to make this happen is greatly appreciated. If someone could confirm that they have received this and my request can be accommodated that would be great. Thanks for your time.
