Dan,

FYI. Keep this information for yourself. Wanted to show you what he does to assist other communities with business retention and expansion. The point being is that the Chamber of Commerce takes the lead on attracting businesses and coordinates with the City on what interest there is and in what properties so we can plan for infrastructure needs.

Regards,

Subject: BR&E survey

The overall opinion of the community as a place to do business and community to live in both scored 26% above average.

In our recent Urban Renewal conversation, the question of what businesses should be attracted I think was answered by the survey. Some 21% had concerns about the proximity of Silverton to service providers. Now to dig a little deeper and find out what kind of service providers those are and try to attract them to the community.

Good information.”
