Hello Dan,

I understand you are the City Manager and wearing numerous hats since you planner left. My question relates to several phone conversations I had several months ago with your planner. At that time we had discussed a large (10 acre) parcel on the west side of town which is currently zoned C-2 I believe. The topic of our discussion was the highest and best use for the property and this lead to talking about a “Mixed-Use” zoning. He had indicated currently this zoning designation was not in the Comp Plan or Municipal Code but there had been discussion on the Planning Commission and City Council level about adding a “Mixed Use” zone in the Municipal Code.

I represent the owner of the property in question and would like to pursue any potential available to change the current zoning on most if not all of the property to a mixed use designation.
