Hi Daniel

To date the City has discharged 4.9 MGD of partially treated water to Bear Creek, which is a 1.7 MGD over a 24 hour period. This does sound like a lot but comparatively over a 24 hour period of time it is not that much.

In taking water samples prior to discharging, Bear Creek notably contained a higher amount of Coliform bacteria compared to the partially treated water in the City Lagoon.

Happy Holidays!!
