Mark,

The supplier is getting a quote and contractor lined out to install a mag meter on the influent line. The concrete pipe is prohibiting other options and it is beyond all of us involved why the original design engineers chose concrete versus PVC, solid wall HDPE, ductile, or coated steel. We are at the mercy of getting this installed at this point and they are working as fast as they can to get it in. I have another local contractor that can assist if necessary.

Thanks, Gerald. Have they given you any timing on getting this finished?

FYI. Checked with Dyer Partnership about other vendors and they use the same folks. Will have to work through this problem. The original designers did not put all of the metering in place that we need today when they built the plant. Not sure why. If they were trying to save money we are sure paying for it now.

Subject: Flowmeter

Gerald,

Tim was here to figure out flowmeter. All of the Transfer Pump Station piping is concrete. I asked for an inline meter quote and contractor price quote for install. Tim will credit us the cost of the mag meter towards the inline.

Thanks,

Jason
