Update.
GPEC is out here installing power from the Transfer pump station to river cities belt press. P.O. 3734 needs to be signed so that I can give to Karter.
After the last power outage transfer pump #1 would not come back online. The alarm that came in on the VFD HMI showing “DC BUS OVER VOLTAGE” Karter from GPEC isolated the motor from the VFD. He then megger the motor and came up with a “dead short” ( windings to ground). This was the rebuilt transfer pump that we installed last year. We do have one more redundant Transfer pump (NEW) that we will be able to install after we take this one out. I Believe that we can wait till after July 1st to have this put back in or start now if the funds are there?
The Quincy Air Compressor that we have been repairing over the past year or so, is acting up again. The Air dryer is not working and constantly blowing fuses. Without this air dryer our pneumatic components will not able to function correctly. I am going to meet with a Quincy representative to see what the cost is to replace the air compressor. If the compressor is fine then there is also another option of just getting external wall mount air dryer. At this point I am in favor of just replace the compressor.
Since Thursday, when we started irrigation, We have brought in 4.349MG of INF and irrigated 5.351MG Effluent to the fields. At point we have no choice but to continue to irrigate 7 days a week with all 3 guns running. This will keep our head above water while “slowly” reducing the amount water in the ponds.
Our current pond levels are
Pond #1 11.0 Ft
Pond #2 11.9 Ft
5-21-20 Pond #1 B.O.D 11Mg/L
5-21-20 Pond #2 B.O.D 9 Mg/L
5-22-20 Pond #1 B.O.D 11 Mg/L
5-22-20 Pond #2 B.O.D 13 Mg/l
What are your thoughts? Can I proceed with all the work that needs to be done at this point.
