I think if we have proper signage, we can open the playgrounds. But, not until we are ready to comply with protocol. I do not want to open Restrooms. The justification is that there is no way to thoroughly clean the restrooms twice per day.

Dan the way I read the current guidance is: Clackamas County is approved for Phase 1 reopening, as indicated on the updated map found here.
https://govstatus.egov.com/reopening-oregon
Phase 1 guidance is provided on the governors website here:
https://govstatus.egov.com/or-covid-19#phase1Guidance
Our parks would fall under “Outdoor Recreation Organization” guidance, updated September 4th, attached.
Looks like we will have to come up with a decent narrative on how we are going to “enforce social distancing” on the playgrounds, including splashpads, and we will have to clean the restrooms twice daily. Basically, if you are ready for us to open the parks I will get it done, and do my best to put these guidelines in place. Are we ready?
Respectfully,
Andy Peters
