I contacted the Riverside fire incident command, and they confirmed that no retardants were used on that fire either. Both Riverside and Beachie were in the Molalla watershed.

Brian, I just wanted to confirm with you if you got your answer on your retardant question a few days ago. Staff here were a little hectic as the fires took off and I never got confirmation that someone got back to you. On Beachie Creek, we were not flying retardant in that area. Have not been able to fly any firefighting aircraft on the Beachie Creek Fire since the 8th due to smoke. So no impacts from retardant at this time from our fire. Not sure what Riverside fire was doing on their fire on their western flank. Let me know if there are any questions.
