There is a new event posted by the NWS for a Flood Watch from 12/19/2020 4:00 PM to 12/20/2020 10:00 PM PST for Oregon/Washington. More information. The Flood Watch includes that Portland Metro area as well as the burned areas in Clackamas County:
* Series of fronts will bring heavy rain across much of the area.
Excessive rainfall could lead to river flooding as well as
flooding in small streams and urban areas. Rain across the
Cascades could cause debris flows across burned areas.
Disaster Management staff will be monitoring the NWS information over the weekend and will reach out if anything is needed from your jurisdiction. Go to www.weather.gov/portland for up to date information.
