Happy first day of September! Please keep letting us know how we can assist you, and if there are any particular topics or questions you’d like to be addressed. Here’s today’s update.
Issuance of FP-104-009-19 COVID-19 Pandemic Work Eligible for Public Assistance (Interim): HQ has issued the interim and updated guidance for PA eligibility for COVID-19; memo and policy attached. FEMA is releasing this interim policy to define the framework, policy details, and requirements for determining the eligibility of work and costs under the Public Assistance Program across all COVID-19 emergency and major disaster declarations. Except where specifically stated otherwise in this policy, assistance is subject to PA Program requirements as defined in Version 3.1 of the Public Assistance Program and Policy Guide. This policy applies to work performed on or after September 15, 2020. As such, this interim policy supersedes the FEMA Fact Sheet dated March 19, 2020: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic: Eligible Emergency Protective Measures, for work performed on or after September 15, 2020.
T-32 MA update: Please see the attached memorandum on COVID-19 Title 32 National Guard Mission Assignments. This guidance supersedes the previous memorandum dated August 5, 2020 on the same subject.
