Good afternoon,

Here’s today’s short update! Please keep letting us know how we can assist you, and if there are any particular topics or questions you’d like to be addressed.

Information from the Interagency Recovery Task Force: Please see attached simple flyer for “Public COVID-19 Data Hubs,” which includes links to publicly-accessible COVID-19 data and analysis intended to help SLTT governments. This one-pager includes links to key hubs that provide access to the majority of relevant data from a variety of sources. It is meant to be an easy reference for SLTT users to help them access the variety of data available and to facilitate greater understanding of COVID-19 impacts.Please feel free to distribute to all of your partners, including all levels of government and non-government. We hope you find this useful. If you have any feedback please provide to the CPCB-RSF@fema.dhs.gov mailbox.

FEMA Public Assistance - Grants Portal Update Continued: We wanted to provide a more detailed description of the latest round of enhancements to Grants Portal over this past weekend, and some upcoming enhancements to keep an eye out for:

Weekend Updates

· Allowed for the Project Brief Description to be modified in Phases III & IV, to ensure it accurately reflects the project work involved,

· Enabled contractors to assist in the completion of streamlined project applications, reducing the burden on Applicants,

· Updated the EHP Temporary Facility Survey, to gather better information for understanding EHP impacts,

· Enabled the edit/cancellation of an Amendment Request, to avoid projects getting held up when an Amendment is found not to be needed, and

· Added an FAQ section that can be and re-organized the ‘Training Materials and Tutorials’ Job Aids for easier navigation.

Upcoming Enhancements

Here are some of the things to look out for over the next several weeks:

· Populated, navigable FAQs

· Additional enhancements to the streamlined project application

· More robust discussion features and remote customer service functionality

· Non-COVID Category B streamlined application

No New COVID-19 document from HQ as of 7/21/20
