Good afternoon,
Here’s today’s update! Please keep letting us know how we can assist you, and if there are any particular topics or questions you’d like to be addressed.
Alternate Care Site (ACS) “Warm Sites” Fact Sheet: Please see the attached ACS Fact Sheet that provides guidance on when state, local, tribal, and territorial governments may, under certain conditions, be reimbursed through FEMA’s Public Assistance (PA) Program for costs associated with keeping ACS, including temporary and expanded medical facilities, minimally operational when COVID-19 cases diminish and the facilities are no longer in use. As it relates to PA eligibility, ACS are temporary medical facilities. Additional information regarding temporary and expanded medical facilities and when FEMA may approve work and costs associated with these facilities may be found in FEMA Policy FP 104-010-04, Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic: Medical Care Costs Eligible for Public Assistance, published on May 9, 2020.
COVID-19 Emergency Management Best Practices: As a reminder, there are extraordinary efforts nationwide to support personnel and resource needs to battle the COVID- 19 pandemic. FEMA is working to highlight these efforts and encourage everyone to think about what they can do to be a part of providing solutions to help. Visit this link for more information.
