Hi All-
Last night the City of Milwaukie City Council declared an emergency. We have closed all buildings to the public – our Public Safety building is still accessible via a phone in the buildings vestibule. A skeleton crew is still on site for each of our Planning Building (JCB) and City Hall.
Office based staff have been largely dispersed and are working from home. Our Public Works crews are 50 percent on site /50 percent at home and flipping each week. We have discontinued in home inspections for permits, but all others are currently being processed. I have included Chief Strait to provide you an update on our PD.
