Subject: Reporting non-compliance of Gov's order

City EMs,

I am following up about mention of a website where people can report issues of non-compliance of the Governor’s order. There is not one website to report.

People can report issues to OSHA if they find a business is unsafe here: https://osha.oregon.gov/workers/Pages/index.aspx.

From CCSO – If there are immediate/urgent issues of non-compliance folks can contact non-emergency at 503-655-8211 and CCSO will attempt to handle by phone, attempt to educate and gain voluntary compliance and, if that doesn’t work, will leverage business licenses, liquor licenses and other civil sanctions. Criminal citations or arrest would be a very last resort in cases of imminent public danger.

Other law enforcement agencies across the region are doing the same.

Our PIOs are currently working with Command and CCSO on how or if this information will be publicized, we do not want to create unnecessary call volume to the dispatch center/non-emergency. Our Public Inquiry Center has been handling a lot of these types of calls and many times they are non-issue, just overly worried folks.

Please let me know if you have questions.
