Subject: 3/31/20 City EM COVID call follow up
City EMs,
Here is follow up from today’s call:
- * FEMA Public Assistance (PA)
- * All documents/emails that are coming in from state are being placed here for you to download: https://dn.clackamas.us/?linkid=KZi4zr6VWWWsSg/Q9T54mK+ymDsSxi8h/YDODS6ncAGbVD1e8Se77g
- * Nancy and I will work on getting more guidance out to you ASAP. Please to start collecting as much cost information you can to send a preliminary number to the state to meet the threshold ($6.4 million) and county to meet threshold ($1.6 million).
- * See attached fact sheet for quick glance at eligible emergency protective measure costs that are covered.
- * Zoom Town Hall featuring Dr. Sarah Present, Clackamas County Health Officer and Dr. Ritu Sahni, Clackamas County Emergency Medical Services Director will occur on April, 1 from 10-11:30 a.m. The town hall will provide general advice for local gov’t employers of essential employees. If you have questions you would like the doctors to address please send them in advance to EOCPIO@clackamas.us. I will send out the updated invitation with the Zoom information as soon as I get it. This will be recorded for viewing later, so you do not need all of your staff in attendance, you can send it to them later.
- * Jamie sent PPE guidance for Law Enforcement yesterday. It is also attached here. The region is recommending PPE for law enforcement at certain times, therefore LE can submit resource requests for PPE if needed. The medical examiner does have PPE they can provide LE if they are attending to a death where LE is needed.
- * Article about non-compliant businesses being fined by OSHA: https://www.oregonlive.com/business/2020/03/oregon-will-begin-inspecting-workplaces-over-coronavirus-complaints-this-week.html
- * Nancy canceled the meeting invite from her. I will send out a new invite with new Zoom login information.
Please email me if you have any questions or agenda items for Thursday’s meeting.
Be well,
Jamie
