Hey Gentlemen,
We got a letter from Jillian Kellington at Clackamas Juvenile Services regarding a young man who vandalized one of the water sprinklers at Fox Park on Sept. 23, 2016. Officer LaPointe issued a citation to an adult and to the juvenile, Riley Pippin. They were skidding their bikes across the water feature and scratched the top of it all up. I know a lot of work was done last year to that area and we want to protect it. However, I don’t know the monetary value of the damage, if it can be fixed, or was fixed, or replaced. It looks cosmetic, but if there is a value to the damage or there is something this kid can do to make amends, Ms. Kellington would like to work with the City and the juvenile to make it right.
Gerald, I burned a copy of the damages and I’m putting it in your mailbox for your review. Someone will need to get back to them if there is some kind of penance that needs to worked out. Let me know if I can help.
