Hi Andy,

I think we should put our heads together and decide what the process for these will be. For instance, do we want your guys to hang them then let code enforcement know the date/address/issue, or do we want them to hang it follow-up a week later to see if the issue is cured and if not report it to code enforcement… you smell what I’m cooking here. Maybe a brief meeting this week with you, me, and Z?

Let me know what your thoughts are. Thank you!

-Mac

Hi all,

I made an initial stab for review. Let us know your toughts

FYI, layout is a dummy layout to see how the text fit in standard door hanger (3.5x8.5) sizing. We’ll have a run of the finals made up professionally.

Best,

Dan I think it’s a great idea, what I suggest is that we not conceptualize it as “for street sweepers” only, but that it could be used by any Public Works folks so can leave it to let people know about the code BEFORE it gets to Code enforcement, or stick it under a wind shield wiper BEFORE we have to send it to PD.

With that in mind you might include a Y/N or check box for “Municipal Code Enforcement Division Notified”. That allow folks to clearly see when we are all being friendly, or playing hardball.

You might consider printing a “form revision date” on it too, so our group can know whether we are using have the latest version…. Suppose Dan Huff decides something on the form was a serious error on our part, so we print new forms up… but Rich still has 50 of the old forms in his truck! A revision date would help me QC that type of stuff on our end.

Those are my first thoughts. I say just take a crack at it, and suggest printing fewer than you feel we might need, because we will undoubtably want to make changes as we go, in the name of CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT!!

Thanks!!

Andy

Hey there, bottom of the phone tree

Mac and I were chatting about the door hangers for street sweepers and want to make some. We were wondering if there was information other than vegetation regulations/responsibilities pertaining to 8.05.010 (such as schedules so people can move their vehicles) that ought to be included? Let me know and we can knock this one out.

Best,
