Hi Dan,

Correct. At this point DEQ does not have sufficient enough documentation to prove that construction activities occurred and disturbed greater than 1 acre and discharge to waters of the state or conveyance system to waters of the state.

I contacted CHTC and had a lengthy discussion with them about the 1200-C requirements and they understand that if they disturb 1 acre or more that the 1200-c permit will be required.

As I told Alice, please keep me updated if any further activity occurs on the site. I am still waiting for the requested 1200-Z documentation with a due date of August 31st.

Alice Cannon had received a verbal statement that DEQ will not be issuing a violation to the company in question (Columbia Hemp Trading Company - CHTC) for not having a 1200-C permit in place. We are looking for written confirmation.
