Attachments: image001.png; Will, our Code Enforcement Officer, Dan Zinder, drove by your properties on Leroy Ave today and noted that other work is being done beyond plumbing, and also trees are being removed. Please be sure to also pull any permits with the County that are needed for this other work. I also would ask that you come in and talk to our Planning Staff about Tree Removal / Replanting permits, which are all required to do the work we can see being done on your property. My next step, if I don’t see these things happening, is to issue a Stop Work order for 507/509 Leroy. Andy,
I figured since it was my own place I did not need a permit to fix the leak. If I need to get one I will get one. I'm on vacation for the next week and can take care of it when I get back.

Will, thanks for this note. We went out to turn the meters on this afternoon but we still have some problems. Apparently one of them is still leaking. Also, do you have a Plumbing Permit from Clackamas County for the work you are doing? I don’t see any permits open with the County. They contract all our plumbing inspections. Given this new information today I’m still uncomfortable with what’s going on out there. Please send me your Plumbing Permit record number for either property so I can validate.

Andy,
It was nice meeting with you yesterday. As we discussed the water meter was leaking at the bottom of the threads. When your repair guys came out I showed it to them. We had the water turned off because it was leaking from there and in the house. The threads broke off when we used a wrench and tried to loosen it. They were badly corroded. After that we did use an excavator to dig up the line. We did call locates prior to any digging. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to call me.

Good Afternoon Will, my name is Andy Peters I’m the Operations Supervisor for the Town. My crew just finished repairing this water service and from the pictures of the broken equipment it looks pretty clear to me that the meter was broken either by an excavator or perhaps something tugging on the old line while removing it. Can you tell me what happened? I have T&M added up for our Freeze-team to come out and repair everything. Looks like the rate-payers are in to this about $720. Let me know if you have any information that can help.
Thanks,
