The mortgage company wants to resolve the costs associated with 529 Hart Ave. Based on an email from Mike Boyd on 11/5/18 it is unclear if Julie Jacobson is required to pay restitution for the waterline tampering. If she wasn’t then what I need to know is if we can hold the property owner responsible since they failed to cooperate with the PD in securing the premises which resulted in damage to our infrastructure. The total cost (see attached) $1,780.50 for Public Works and does not include Finance and PD’s costs.

If we can not collect from Julie or the property owner then we will notify the real estate agent that they mortgage company will have to hire a contractor to install a new service and pay water SDC’s. Let me know as soon as you can so I can get back to Ginger on this one and close it out. Thanks.
