Officer Scott, thanks for answering my non-emergency call. Here is what I have, I wish we could post the youtube video on Molalla Now and see if anyone recognizes the kids and could ID their child!
- 1. Park crew member Rich Landreth (503-793-6211) was called out Sunday at 1pm to clean graffiti encouraging children to commit suicide at Fox Park (attached) at 401 S Molalla Ave, Molalla, OR 97038.
- 2. The following morning I had a voice message from a park user who saw the graffiti over the weekend, voice message attached.
- 3. I found by asking around that the earliest person available to me who saw the graffiti was Jake Ehredt’s (971-241-7547) mother-in-law, who saw it around noon on July 5th. That narrowed the time frame enough for me to review park video.
- 4. at 9:12pm July 4th, Fox Park, video feed from Fox Park South Cameras shows two young men loitering in the areas where graffiti was found, one of them appears to be acting as lookout while the other ducks down at 9:15:00pm on July 4th in the spot where the graffiti was found.
- 5. Video evidence does not show any other park users on this structured until Ms. Ehredt’s reported time. Photos of the graffiti are attached. Video online at https://youtu.be/Y7szpDsLhX4
