Thanks for the reply Annie. We will get an eagle and special tester to stop by and review the area for any safety issues. We will let you know if we find anything of concern.

Hi Randy,

I spoke with Loretta Mabinton, Associate General Counsel for PGE, and she thinks it’s a good idea to send out some of our people to see if there are any valid safety issues that would support disconnection at the property involved. Whoever is sent out should document anything issues they encounter (take photos) and provide us with any other evidence that is relevant, should they see anything unsafe.

Thank you,

Annie

Hi Robert & Randy,

I received an email from City of Molalla letting us know they are pulling permits at 507/509 Leroy St Molalla OR, 97038. I checked our system and didn’t see a customer associated with the account and wasn’t sure we (PGE) could do anything about the power we deliver to this address, but thought I would reach-out and let you know what was going on.

Thanks,

Daniel Herrera • Sr. Key Customer Manager • 503-464-8642

This property will not get water back on until they present County Permits proving safe plumbing was done.

Daniel, we are having problems at 507/509 Leroy. They have heavy unpermitted construction going on. I’ve issued a stop work order from the City, but there continue to be problems. I highly recommend PGE take a look to ensure leaving power on to this site is a safe idea. I’m happy to provide more information. I also have a video walkthrough inspection I performed last week.

Thanks,

Andy Peters

Yes, that's right. Silly me. I had a memory lapse there. Thanks for the reminder.

Alice,

This is the property that Andy is currently working on enforcement issues for regarding unpermitted work. They are currently off and locked for water with a stop-work order.

I can drive by and if they’re working, we could site them.

Regarding the land use question – I would like to discuss further for guidance before making a determination. I haven’t enforced this kind of situation before. This property has been in use as two duplexes since well before my time here and has two active meters.

FYI....Do either of you recognize this address? DZ: Should we pursue a code enforcement case?

CLIENT CAME IN AND SAID THAT HE WAS CONTRACTOR FOR A 4-PLEX AT THIS ADDRESS. HE SAID THERE WERE MULTIPLE BUILDINGS THAT HAD 2 DWELLINGS EACH.

AFTER CALLING CITY OF MOLALLA – IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THIS PROPERTY IS ONLY ALLOWED 1 DWELLING.

I TOLD THE CLIENT THIS INFORMATION AND HE WAS GOING TO TALK TO THE OWNER.

I TOLD HIM I WAS GOING TO BE TURNING THIS INTO CODE ENFORCEMENT.

I HAVE ATTACHED THE LISTING OF THE SALE FROM LAST WINTER. IT CLEARLY STATES THAT THE PROPERTY IS A 4-PLEX BUT NOT RENTED OUT AT THIS POINT DUE TO A FIRE.

THERE ARE JUST A FEW OLD PERMITS FOR THIS SITE:
