Just got off the phone with the mortgage company representative. They wanted us to do it and I told them no. It is their property and that they had significant charges related to making the property habitable. I also told them that we will not be doing anything with the property and they can hire a contractor to help them with the boarded up structure. Thanks.

I just got off the phone with the mortgage company responsible for this property. They’re trying to send appraisers in and will be accessing the property in the near future for that purpose.

So – a heads up that person(s) may be removing and replacing the wooden boards currently used to secure the property from whoever was living there prior.
