Subject: 806 Toliver Road Garbage Complaint

Chief,

I wanted to thank you again for your time yesterday. I appreciated talking with you and being able to express my concerns. I also want to clarify some information.

Fred Parish had moved out of his residence and has been gone for a few months. Another neighbor told me yesterday that he has since moved back. I was unaware of this, as neither myself nor my husband have seen him. There has been a grey or tan pickup in the driveway that we believed was being driven by the 18 year old, Corey, but this same neighbor told me yesterday that Fred is actually driving it. My husband, Brad did see Fred late last night at the residence.

I sent an email to Dan Zinder on November 21, 2016, asking if the notice sent to Mr. Parish included any instruction about use of rodent-proof containers to store garbage and the frequency in which the garbage should be removed. I have not received an answer from Dan. We're concerned that Mr. Parish will continue to use the wooden trailer to store garbage instead of a plastic or metal can with a lid. The condition of the rotting trailer, we feel, makes that also solid waste. We've learned that the entire lining of the wood trailer is caked with years of thick mold, and we can see that something is seeping through the wood panels.

Though I didn't explain this to you yesterday, my complaint also involved a dangerous lean-to/wood pile and a fence out of code. Dan has referred me to Clackamas County for the building, and Diane Bautista at Clackamas says she will be investigating. The fence issue may be brought to the Molalla City Council. I've also asked Dan to advise me when a meeting is scheduled so that my husband and I can attend, if possible. It is unclear to me whether Dan is proceeding about the fence, or if I will need to contact Clackamas County.

I've attached the documents that are part of my complaint with Dan. This is just for your information.

Thank you again for your professionalism and time with this matter.

Sincerely,

Lori Edwards
