Welcome to 'The Table'!

My name is Caity Belta. I'll be your training guide - so lovely to welcome you to our Bang the Table Family.

Below you'll find all of the information you need to get started, including descriptions of training sessions. In these training sessions, you'll get a mixture of one-on-one and group based training, tons of examples, strategy help, planning inspiration, and guidance from me along the way.

Here's what onboarding training looks like:

After your last training, I'll introduce you to your Account Manager who will be your point of contact after you launch your site.

I've included a site build template that will help guide the process. You can begin filling it in with the answers to the questions Michelle provided above.

Next Steps:

1. Schedule a Kickoff Call for 30 minutes to cover your site details, clarify site admins, general setup, and that you have everything in order. This is for Site Admins and high level decision makers.

Here is what I need you to have thought about prior to this meeting:

* Names and emails of site admins. These are the people who are running the show. They are primarily responsible for building the site, booking training, and disseminating information. This must be established in order to move on.
* Site name and URL - see this article on choosing your preferred domain.
* Projects you want to launch with.

After site launch, your EngagementIQ support package includes 10 hours of strategic support. You can book that time directly with Caity to access additional training, strategic planning, online engagement coaching, or whatever you may need to be successful in your work.

Site Build Checklist

Community Engagement Strategy - Why are you engaging? Who do you need to engage with? What decisions will you be making with the input? What data do you need?

Site Name + URL (ex: Plan Soho/Noho + PlanSohoNoho.com)
3.
Initial Content. This could include:

Project Names (ex: Comprehensive Plan, Fact or Fiction?, Accessible Transportation)
*
Project Descriptions (What we’re doing, why we’re doing it, how you can get involved)
*
Key Dates to engage (in-person or online meetings, survey open/close dates)

Questions or prompts you want your participants to respond to
*
Supporting Documents in PDF format - Proposals, plans, historic information, legal, etc.
