Good Morning,

Our kickoff meeting is scheduled for 7/27 at 2pm, and we’ve set up a shared MS Notebook for the onboarding/setup process.

3 tasks we need to take care of before the 7/27 kickoff meeting, input needed from everyone: we need to get a good list together for each of item’s 1 & 2, please help as soon as possible.

1. Project(s) to launch with – Please list any projects that you feel are priority to potentially go out in the first wave.
2. Site Name - The name must be short and punchy as it will be included in the URL.
3. URL – Mac will take care of this with MCC.

Good Morning Everyone,

You are receiving this message because your Department Head named you as the department representative for Bang the Table public engagement platform. We have completed acquisition and are moving to onboarding, the first meeting will be 30 minute digital meeting. Our intent is to have the sight off the ground by early September so it can be unveiled and shared with the community at Celebrate Molalla. This means we need to act quickly to get the ball rolling.

We’ve got two dates to select from right now, if this absolutely won’t work for someone please let me know. I need responses ASAP so we can reserve a spot before they’re all taken, and the quicker we can get this done the better:

7/23 – any time 1000-330

7/27 – any time 830-330

7/29 – 930, 130, 200, 230, 300, 330

A few housekeeping issues:

1. Please save and use this message chain with the reply all feature when we’re discussing Bang the Table so we are all in the loop and have the info saved automatically.
2. I’ll be asking for assistance on the front end to collect some of the data we need to get the ball rolling
3. Here is the site build checklist, we’ll be working through this after our onboarding meeting. Please look it over and be prepared to ask any questions you’ve got about it for the onboarding meeting:

Site Build Checklist

1. Community Engagement Strategy - Why are you engaging? Who do you need to engage with? What decisions will you be making with the input? What data do you need?
2. Site Name + URL (ex: Plan Soho/Noho + PlanSohoNoho.com)
3. Initial Content. This could include:

* Our Approach to Engagement
* Project Names (ex: Comprehensive Plan, Fact or Fiction?, Accessible Transportation)
* Project Descriptions (What we’re doing, why we’re doing it, how you can get involved)
* Key Dates to engage (in-person or online meetings, survey open/close dates)
* Questions or prompts you want your participants to respond to
* Supporting Documents in PDF format - Proposals, plans, historic information, legal, etc.

3. Demographic questions for Registration form

* Images
* These include site logos, project description photos, homepage photos.
