Good day Legislative Member Grantees,
I hope this email finds you well and enjoying the “hot” summer days. First, I want to thank you for completing the last round of reporting – I’m happy to report we were able to submit our reports on time to US Treasury thanks in part to you!
In order for DAS to be compliant with the US Treasury American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) State Fiscal Recovery Fund (SFRF) grant and subsequently the Uniform Grant Guidance (UGG) section 2 CFR 200.332(b), we must complete a risk assessment for all subrecipients. To assist with this assessment process, I have attached a Grantee Assessment Tool (Tool), for you to complete and return. There are three worksheets (tabs) in this workbook: 1) Instructions – Start Here, 2) Self-Assessment, and 3) Risk Assessment. I estimate it could take around an hour to complete, depending on your program. It might also be helpful to work with other members of your organization that may provide needed input.
Once your organization’s completed Tool is received, I will complete the bottom section of the Risk Assessment, then, based on the assessment, set-up a monitoring schedule. For the monitoring, I may request additional information about your project or schedule a meeting with you and others working on your SFRF Grant. Please complete the attached Tool and return to me no later than 08/31/2022.
If you have expended all the SFRF Grant funds and completed your project, you are still required, as part of federal regulations, to complete the attached Tool so that DAS may complete the file for your organization.
