I made the changes that the City had requested in terms of forgiving ½ the project costs once $100K is paid, allowing them to wait 3 years before making payments, and setting the deadline for the project to be done by Oct. 1. There are still questions as you can see from my comments in the document. A lot of those questions will be answered with a title search which I was not sure if the City had done. From the one email it looks like the City reviewed their own records for liens but I was not sure about other third party liens on the property. We also need to verify who the vested owners of the property are to ensure all of the agreements are with the right party - - the title search will tell us that as well. Let me know if you want our office to get a title report for the City - - they are usually around $200-$300 to pull.
