Luke,
I don’t think we were putting in for the reimbursement for all the agencies that assisted. That was why I sent the letter out. OCPD had initially requested the letter because that is what FEMA wanted them to do to show that they did infact put in the hours. They just needed a letter from us on letterhead explaining they did assign folks.
Let me know if you need anything else,
Chief

Are you folks doing FEMA Public Assistance Grant reimbursement stuff at this time? My city is being very thorough but I’m not remotely worked up about this. They just got back to me and indicated per FEMA, Milwaukie is supposed to bill Molalla for our time and Molalla is supposed to bill request reimbursement from FEMA. If Molalla isn’t actively working on that I’ll just tell my folks to let it go. All this is due by January 29th/31st. Sorry to bombard you. If you do have folks working on it, I’ll let it proceed and put my people in touch with your people.

We can show which days, but we didn’t keep track of the exact hours your officers used. Patty Stewart with OCPD provided us with the hours they tracked and we put it in the letter. If you want your Admin Asst to reach out to Ronda with those totals, we will add it and send you the letter.

Luke,
We didn’t for the outside agencies. Oregon City hit me up for a letter that they needed to satisfy their requirement with the feds. Here is what I wrote them. Do you want something like this?

FRAAAAAAANK!! Hope all is well brother. I assume your city is not doing anything to collect money or reimbursement from the feds for any time Milwaukie PD put in out there? One of my city staff wanted me to double check. They will put in for reimbursement if you did not, which I’m sure you guys didn’t.
If that’s they case there may be a form they asked someone from your city to sign, verifying that.
Thank buddy!
Luke
