Subject: LUST # 20-08-1083 Cost Recovery Agreement Received- Next Steps
Importance: Normal
Attachments: USTInitial20DayReportForm.pdf; Microsoft Exchange Server;converted from html; Good morning Mr. Jones, Welcome to the Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) program. The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) aims to make this process as streamlined and effective as we can, but we need your help to make this happen. Appreciate you returning the signed cost recovery agreement (CRA). In addition to the signed CRA you will need to submit a Twenty Day Report (attached). The report will give us more information to help determine the site complexity and priority. Once DEQ determines the complexity and priority the site is placed on a waiting list for a project manager (PM) to be assigned. During this waiting period I’ll be your intake coordinator and will work with you gathering any pertinent information to help the PM get up to speed quickly on the project. One example of this is a Cleanup Report that is typically due 45 days after the date of the release. This report can be considered a final report if all of the work is done, or it will provide us with information on where you are at with the cleanup. Within 60 days from the date the cleanup occurred DEQ will need a Final Report. The final report must include information outlined in the UST Cleanup Manual, OAR 340-122-360. https://www.oregon.gov/deq/FilterDocs/USTCleanupManual.pdf Summary of Documents:
In the meantime if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
Thank you,
Tina
